You would not have the full Mistassini Lake fishing experience without a shore lunch. Each day, our guides leave camp with equipment needed to prepare a delicious shore lunch. Your morning catch is your lunch.
In both camp, delightful meals are prepared by our skilled cooks. Breakfast and supper is prepared at camp and a shore lunch at noon.
In both camps, we use quality boats tailored for Mistassini Lake. We use 17′ boats with 60 HP Yamaha motors.
In order to provide our guests with a safe and comfortable fishing experience, the maximum number of anglers per boat is two.
3-day package: 2 ½ days of fishing. Arrival is midday on Friday and fishing in the afternoon. Departure is on Monday morning and no fishing on Monday morning.
4-day package: 3 ½ days of fishing. Arrival on midday Monday and fishing in the afternoon. Departure is on Friday morning and no fishing on Friday.
7-day package: 6 ½ days of fishing. ½ day fishing on arrival day and no fishing on departure date
Both camps offer impressive fishing for 4 species; Lake Trout, Brook Trout, Pike and Walleye.
Mistassini Outfitting Camps Inc. operates two fishing camps; Osprey Lodge and Louis-Jolliet Camp.
At both camps, you can take 8 walleye, 3 lake trout, 1 Pike, 15 or 5 kg + 1 Brook trout, whichever is reached first.
